I have googled it and have found a few, but was hoping perhaps some of the members here may hold knowledge of some more detailed links. Having spent 10 days with a overly Dominant male, lol I've been in my own little mindset of submission for a while, deepening with my visit to the fetish club, and meeting other Dominants alike. I hate subdrop, it always effects me, and it always gets me low. Just something that happens, I think it depends on how deep you go with your submission, how much you /let/ go so to speak. I give alot, and in return I feel dropped into normality. Without the scene, I'd be lost so i appreciate subdrop, reminds me i've been somewhere I feel at home. Just sucks when you feel sad. The links have been very helpful. While I have held a certain awareness for quite sometime now, my experiences are fairly limited. At the time of the question, i was trying to determine whether it was subdrop I was experiencing or something of a clinical nature. What had me confused is that I have always been under the impression that subdrop was something you experienced *immediately after subspace*. My low experiences always occur within a day or so of a session, and are repetitive. IOW, regardless of how wonderfully elevated, empowered, and content I feel after a session... I *always* hit that low. Too, being that I dont feel I have ever reached the truest depths of subspace then the question becomes... Subdrop or something else? What level of mentality must be reached before the potential to fall victim to subdrop becomes a reality? After looking into this further from the links provided, I have come to the conclusion that none of this is predetermined and falls under individual circumstance. Oh, and thanks for the links above, they are helpful! x Kate girl chose this reply to quote because she hate this feeling also. girl does not quite understand if she knows this feeling is sub-drop and knows this is a mere feeling of depression from the endorphins she felt prior and it is her body just settling back in...why, oh why can't she bring her own self out of this! girl is keeping herself busy or at least trying to do so, in order not to hamper or feed into this current emotional bottom. The car is washed, the dog is washed the laundry is washed the girl is washed, a cleaning frenzy to keep girl busy... It is just baffling to this girl, that she knows this is an inevitable feeling after a very intense event and time shared, knowing it will come, but unable to stop it or have any control over it.... just is baffling... she rides this one out and is grateful at least she knows why it is... and that it too shall pass. smiles to you...
