Friends have borrowed them then not returned them coz they enjoyed them so much. That triology got me very interested, as well as opened my mind to many new things, plus, they are a GREAT bath book I have to buy new copies of them, so that if I find an openminded partner, I can have him read them adn see what he thinks. Interesting reading. Haven't read the whole thing, just bits and pieces. I adore them. *interesting side note - my favorite Disney movie of all time is Sleeping Beauty so this is a bit of irony here. I can hardly make a chapter or two without begging my Ronnin for attention. Not always happy with the outcome but I guess I bring that one on myself, so generally I read them with him. *sigh* I loaned them to a relative and I have yet to get them back... I am going to have to go a huntin for em. It has been about a year or more since I last read them.... Mmmmmmm Oh, sorry - dreaming off there a bit - I would give anything to be able to have some of the um... training devices they have - perfect. It was like she was a submissive seductress rather than a slave who i think derives pleasure FROM submission to a specific other. Dunno if i said it right. I think these books may be the best orgasm-inducing novels ever written! All the things Beauty (and others) had to go through in the books were intense sexual experiences. I have a lot of girl and guy friends who have read them, too. I think it's high time I pick these up again. Hmmm yes definatly time. If I remember correctly they were much more fun then the Kushiel's series, one of the last series I've read that had any BDSM contaxt in it. Hmmm wonders if Barnes and Noble still carries the Beauty series. May have to go take a drive later. Thanks for another reminder. Perhaps now I will remember.
