| The local BDSM group sent me an email regarding this event, and I thought I'd share with the board for anyone else who might be in the region. I've included all the info they sent me, as well as the email addresses for anyone interested in signing up.

Pheerfest Marketplace
We are doing some very unique things with the Marketplace area this year. There is a saying in life, "You get what you are willing to work for." Vendor areas at events are almost all the same. Most of that is because almost all events look at this area as a necessary evil. They as a rule don't make money for the event, but then again, you might not come without one, so they become a means to an end. So why do we expect different results when the input is consistently bad. We certainly have lifestyle teaching, and personal life experiences that tell us that, that doesn't work. We are going to change that and raise the bar for all events to start thinking differently. The status quo is over.
First of all we are truly partnering with them to increase both the selection for you as well as the opportunity for them to sell their wares.
When you sign up you will be ask if you will permit your name to be put on a mailing list that will be given to the vendors. If you consent to this listing:
In the upcoming months the vendor may at their option, contact you and tell you about themselves and things the will be doing when they come to Pheerfest.
They are being encouraged to make special offers to you in the form of special pricing or a blanket discount coupon for purchasing things from them in their booth.
They may also do a drawing as well from this list for special give-away from those registered
In order to make their experience at Pheerfest more conducive to doing business, we are providing them at no charge, additional services.
The list of vendors as of 4/14/07
o Achella *
o MT Leathers
o Rainbow Rope *
o Chicago Tool Work
o Pink Flamingo Books
o Corsets By Mel *
o Locked in Steel
o Arcanes Attick
o Restraint By Design *
o Violet Wand Guild
o Evolved *
o Cristo's Blades * confirmed
Silent Auction
A silent auction is being held for the benefit of NCSF and the Leather Archive Museum. PEER Group has throughout its 13 year history made donations to various organizations which support the rights of those in the lifestyle to practice and partake freely in their own sexuality.
The items being auctioned off are from our vendors, sponsors, and from our presenters.
There maybe a truly a unique opportunity to own in some cases, a one of a kind item
Event Special Features
Evolved Studios will be onsite to do piercing for anyone who may want one on Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and again on Sunday from11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This will be done in their sterol facilities including autoclaving and include an extensive jewelry selection.
We will have a staff photographer who will be able to help you in anyway with your needs
Many of the presenters have indicated over the years I have known them that they would like to come to an event where they could have a chance to catch up with fellow presenters spending some quality time talking and breaking bread. For the first time we are aware of, we will as a group host 2 days in front and 5 days at the end of the event for the presenters to visit with each other and our city. So far we have had commitments from many of them to consider "taking the time" from their busy lives to do this. The response and gratitude has been overwhelming. There will be a barbeque and pool party and a private night of play for them in the dungeon. A quiet time, to both establish and renew old friendships both pre and post the event.

Inter Group Relations
We want all of the groups in the region to participate so we have set up a plan to make it happen:
Each recognized group in the region will have the opportunity to participate. "Recognized", will mean, those groups that either have an active Web Site or Discussion Group on the Net that can be verified.
If they have not already heard from us, have your group leaders to contact us about specific details. The following are the general guidelines:
Registration Credit
o When you sign up you will be asked if you are an active member of a recognized group.
§ Please designate the group you want to give credit to for your registration
§ When you make this designation, your group will receive a complimentary registration to use as they deem appropriate, for every 15 paid registrations we receive
§ No, you cannot specify that you want 15 groups to each receive credit, nor can you ask us to split it among 15 groups, one registration, one designation
§ They can use this as a prize, they can raffle it off, they can give it to a deserving individual, or it can go to a leadership member as a reward for a job well done. Your group's choice
§ They can even give it back to someone who has already registered and we will refund their money already paid providing, if they are going to do that, they must have at least 16 people registered from the group at the time
§ You will get $10.00 off the registration price as well for being a member of a group
§ Not a member of a group, why not? Get out there and get involved. Stop hiding under the covers, your local groups need your talents and commitment.
Scholarships
In addition to this, we will need help in the production of this event, so we will be outreaching to other groups to identify people who need both partial and full scholarships.
Theses scholarships will be very limited, so don't wait to register
If you register and pay and you are at a later time the recipient of a scholarship we will refund to you all the money you paid
Each group will have the opportunity to select the most deserving and committed of their members to receive these scholarships
Our work expectations for these scholarship are as reasonable as we can make them and we will do everything possible to make sure you get to the classes you want to attend
