No one can be a master without interacting with their slave. No one can be a slave without a master that interacts with them. The bottom line is that to own someone a dominant must take responsibility for them and this also means accepting the fact that being incommunicado wipes out any chance of actually maintaining control over the person they supposedly own. (Even if the incommunicado state is not something they could control. No, it ain't fair. Life rarely is.) A "slave" who has been abandoned without word is no longer a slave, so the considerations of how a slave "should" behave are no longer relevant. Unless they want to behave in an exquisitely slavely way to their walls, say, or their potted plants, or their kitchen chair. Any other construct stretches the concept of slavery into pure fantasy. How long have you known this Master? How long have they been silent? Have they said why they are silent? If you get no communication there isn't a relationship. If They relinquish that control by not being around or taking good care of their slave... well yes a slave should cut the ties and find someone who will treasure them for what they are. Always try to work the relationship out first, but if "They" aren't even there to do that? At no time during our online "phase," did Master EVER just stop communicating with me, forcing me to guess what was up and what i should do. To me, that makes no sense at all. W/we were separated by a distance of 800 miles and W/we both worked full-time jobs and yet W/we never failed to maintain daily phone contact. No matter what was going on, He always let me know something. Sure, there can always be emergencies or things arise where one can't call at a given time, but if this goes on for a day and then more days, IMO, there is surely something lacking. i could not have continued a relationship where my Owner thought so little of His property that He would neglect it to that degree.
