Hi,
Most of this profile deals very much with my BDSM interests, how I approach my role as Dominant, what I feel I can offer a sub in terms of BDSM and generally all-round about how BDSM fits into my life. That's really because BDSM would form a big part of any relationship for me, so compatibility on that level is pretty important. However, it doesn't mean that the rest of life is unimportant to me - a sub is a person first of all, and I find it hard to Dom someone I don't like as a person! So please please please, if you write to me (or if I've written to you first), tell me something about your life and interests outside of BDSM! (My comments about my own non-BDSM life and interests are further down, near the end of the profile text)
What follows is first, what I'm currently looking for (long-term, probably monogamous M/s or D/s relationship), and finally who I am in terms of kink and non-kink (too complex to summarise easily  ).

I am seeking a long-term real-life relationship with a sub or slave who will be submissive in the bedroom, but also to some extent in the rest of life as well, though to what extent that would be is something we'd work out together. 24/7 is something that my circumstances won't support at present, although it would be something I would be happy to work towards with a partner who wanted to go that far. I would say I am seeking a slave, but some people who call themselves subs (and I'd be happy to use that term too!) seem to advertise as wanting (or write their blogs as having) the same sort of relationship as I seek, while some who call themselves slaves do not. In particular, I would like to add that while the sex side of things is important to me, I am convinced that if I had to choose, I would be perfectly happy in a D/s relationship with no sex, but a relationship with kinky-sex and no D/s could never satisfy me.
I would prefer someone I can travel to easily, meaning that the East Sussex, West Kent, London areas are best; if she is willing to do all the travelling, I can accommodate at my home, though - and for the right person I am able to relocate.
I'll just add a note here: I have a particular liking for women much shorter than me. Although being tall won't turn me off you, I especially like shorter women, and when I say shorter, I don't put any lower limit on height!
My approach to BDSM is very much on the mental and
emotional level as much as the physical: I really like to
play with my partner's fantasies and use my devious
and creative mind to twist them into new and (hopefully)
even more arousing scenarios that we can play out
together. The brain is the most potent and important
sexual organ, and I like to stimulate it (both mine and
my partner's) a great deal. My biggest turn-on is turning on my partner!
I can be firm, tough and forceful, but also calm and
gentle as suits the moment. I believe that less is often
more and prefer to dominate where possible using the
small gesture and the quiet command rather than the
expansive sweep or shouted order. Of course, any
command must be enforced by the use of appropriately
forceful punishment, when required, to complement my
other qualities. A favourite slogan for me is, "From the
strong came forth sweetness."

Outside of BDSM, I play guitar and double bass (and ukulele and mandolin), I read a lot and enjoy writing fiction/poetry (although most of my fiction lately has been BDSM, so when I say "outside of..." it's not strictly true!  ). I am a cricket fan (born in Yorkshire, so the White Rose is always the best!) and a follower of various other sports, including but not limited to, rugby (both codes), american football, association football, motor sports and extreme ironing. Religion-wise, I'm a somewhat heretical Christian with a heavy dose of taoism thrown in, and an ongoing interest in and appreciation of the wisdom of other belief systems.
I have a flexible attitude towards gender - although I'm definitely "all Man", I have no problems with displaying my female sides as well.
