Like Saphira, I am very loyal to my owner. I have Asperger's Syndrome, a type of high-functioning autism. I am intelligent, prone to meltdowns if thing do not go as I planned, have a mind like a steel trap, think more logically and less emotionally than most, and can be an all-around nuisance if not handled properly. That being said, my dynamic does wonders for my differently-wired brain. Prolixity gives me the social and emotional support I need, rules to follow, lessons in social skills, is my champion and protector when I need one and is the one to discipline me when I'm acting out. I am not ideal for most owners because of what I am; I require more patience and accommodations than most could give. But we click and have evolved the right relationship for us over the years, one that I can't see living without. The evolution is still continuing, but one can say being owned by someone with occasional tendencies towards switching means never a dull moment. I am never sure how I should update a profile, but since he discovered the switch in me and I discovered I love it, we've done a little role reversal.
