TSR Meeting, Washington DC, August 2008
As we did last year, we will once again have a Slave Register Meet &
Greet at the Master/slave Conference in DC which will feature the best food
and beverages and the best company anywhere. The time and date will be
announced soon.
About the Master/slave Conference
The fifth Master/slave Conference will will take place August 7-10, 2008 at
the Crowne Plaza Hotel Washington DC / Silver Spring. The conference is a
highly educational event with over forty workshops and panels on different
aspects of Master/slave relationships taught by some of the most celebrated
Masters and slaves in the scene. For the third consecutive year, the event
will include a special exhibit of Vi Johnson's Leather History Library,
a collection of old magazines and books dealing with BDSM dating back to the
Nineteeth Century. There will also be a Leather Market, the traditional
slave auction, a formal Leather Banquet and a Sunday Brunch and several
receptions.
MsC is a very diverse event where everyone is welcome regardless sexual
orientation or gender. A formidable representation of gay, lesbian, bisexual
and transgender Masters and slaves, Sirs, Mistresses, boys, subs, girls,
bois, etc. gather every summer in the Nation's capital to share,
educate, learn, and network.
Master Skip Chasey from Los Angeles, California, will be the Keynote Speaker
during the Opening Ceremony on Friday evening. The Master Heart Award and
slave Heart Award will be presented that evening as well. MsC will also
feature its traditional slave auction during the reception on Friday
evening. The funds raised during the auction goes to the scholarship fund of
the event. Online registration for the Master/slave Conference 2008 is now
open at the website of the annual event. Attendees can go to www.masterslaveconference.org and register online as well
as book their hotel rooms.
The advance registration for the conference is $100 and is effective until
May 31. (There is no charge for the TSR Meet & Greet.) Cost will
increase to $120 until June 30, $140 after July 1 and $150 at the door. This
year the event will feature three optional meals including a Leather formal
banquet on Saturday evening, a grill lunch on Saturday, and a Sunday brunch.
The meals package will be $65 for all three meals. Individual meals also can
be purchased.
