Ownership Disputes

The principle we follow in administering The Slave Register is that the registration and profile is attached to the slave or submissive in question. Slaves and submissives should register themselves (even at the direction of their owner), and if there is a subsequent dispute over control of a profile and Registration Number, we will always side with the slave or submissive.

(Clearly, if an owner genuinely owns someone, then they can enforce their decisions about things like profile settings themselves...)

Disputes procedure

  • The registration is associated with the submissive or ex-slave: we will always assign control of the registration in that direction if we can establish the facts.
  • Ex-owners or dominants can have identifying information removed from a registration profile: ie if they are named as the owner when they are not, or if their name appears in the More Information section of the profile.
  • If you wish to contact The Slave Register to help resolve a dispute, please send an email to the other party asking them to comply with your wishes, with admin AT slaveregister.com as the Cc: (if they are not displaying their email address, you can send a memo to them via The Slave Register and include Admin as one of the recipients.) We don't want to get heavy-handed with someone when a simple request from the other party could have resolved it.
  • If you do not receive a reply from them within 14 days, we will then get involved and attempt to sort things out. We don't take this lightly, since it may involve modifying their registration details against their wishes, so we need to see that they are behaving unreasonably first.
